Handmade Bows

As each Bow is handmade and limited in availability, we cannot offer any returns or exchanges. However our bows are guaranteed to last. Please send an email to orders@elizacate.com if you have any issues. Please be sure to include your order number and any relevant photos so we can best assist you.


Eliza Cate Apparel

Our apparel can be returned for store credit or exchanged within 5 days of receipt as marked by USPS.

All apparel must be unworn, unwashed and in original packaging with tags attached where applicable. If any of these requirements are not met, we will be unable to process the return and the items will be sent to you at your cost. Exchanges are for equal product only, pending availability. Return and exchange shipping is the buyers responsibility both ways.

To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at orders@elizacate.com with your original order number. We will send you instructions to mail back your item(s). Once they are received, we will process the exchange or issue a store credit within 48 hours.

Due to COVID-19 causing delays across the board, we have updated our Order Processing & Shipping Policy. Please read more about turn around time and shipping here.

If you live in the North Austin/Leander area and would like to pick up your order, select this option at checkout. 

Orders not picked up within 2 weeks from order fulfillment will be cancelled and returned to stock.

Order processing time still applies to pick up orders. We will contact you when your order is ready.  

You may cancel your "ready to ship" order up to 24 hours after ordering. Please email orders@elizacate.com with your order number to cancel, or if you need further assistance.

For orders that are placed during our preorder window, we cannot cancel these orders once the preorder closes as your order is placed specifically to your requests. Please email orders@elizacate.com with your order number if you need further assistance.


Our bows are guaranteed to last! If your bow comes untied or you need a replacement clip, please email us at orders@elizacate.com to start the process for a repair. Once received, reties can take 2-4 weeks to complete.

All of our bows are suitable from Newborn and up, however if you prefer a size-appropriate bow we would suggest starting with the Ellie size. Be sure to select Nylon Headband for your Hardware preference, as these gentle headbands are ideal for the tiniest of babes.

Most of our bows are limited, meaning we list all available. On occasion we'll restock bows, but most of the time we won't. Be sure to follow our Insiders Group for stock updates, including restock and new bows!

Never run your bow through the washing machine. Our bows are handmade and are delicate, and washing them could cause damage. If you need to clean your bow, you can do so by spot cleaning with a wet cloth. If you need a little boost, a small amount of oxyclean should do the trick. Lay your bow flat to dry. Iron on the lowest setting to refresh the fabric.

Apparel FAQ

Preorders - Apparel offered as a preorder is avialable for a limited period and will ship at a later date, usually about 6 weeks out. Please read the full preorder description for timeline details. Available sizes are offered in a wide range during our preorder period, where our in-stock or extras apparel is more limited in sizes. 

Extras - These are additional sizes ordered to meet our production requirements for preorders. Quantities and sizes will be very limited as we are ordering enough to hit minimums only. Extras are not eligible for a preorder discount and are offered after the preorder ends. All extras will ship when our Preorders ship. Please refer to the original preorder timeline for full details. 

Ready to Ship - These are garments that we have in-stock and can ship within our Ready to Ship turnaround time, usually 5 7 business days. Sizes and quantities are limited and there are no restocks.

Yes! In order to hit our apparel minimums, we have offered limited runs to select retailers who wish to sell our products. We do not sell to "social sellers" aka Facebook stores. Each retailer is vetted and approved, and are more often than not only Brick & Mortar stores. If you'd like to become a retailer, you may visit our shop on Faire.
